EAT PRAY SLAY

It all started when...

Aimée found yoga after two knee injuries left her unable to run anymore. She quickly realised as well as fixing her knees the yoga was extremely good for her mind, fitness and controlling stress levels. So she was hooked. Aimée started practicing hot yoga and has gone onto practice Jivamukti, Ashtanga and Hatha Vinyasa Flow Yoga.

Aimée teaches Vinyasa Flow Yoga in a lighthearted style, allowing students to feel comfortable trying new things and can let go of the outcome of poses. She believe’s that you have to challenge the body to change the body, but encourages students to work with their bodies gently and progress at their own pace.

Her philosophy is that everyday on the mat is different, that yoga is a practice of discovery and it deepens with your ability to stay open and present. Yoga was traditionally used solely to quieten the mind, to help us live happier more fulfilling lives and Aimee still likes to promote this as the main outcome to take from her classes.
